Providing logistic support for specific markets and assisting in market stock allocation and general operations. The tasks include coordination the logistics operations to ensure all operational requirements are met with optimum cost and risk management. Must be able to work late nights and weekends during the citrus season.

Responsibilities:

• Bookings

  • Bookings creation/cancellation and follow up for specific markets

  • Vessel bookings with shipping lines

• Allocating and managing stock

  • Allocating of stock

  • Sending out loading instruction

  • Pull, validate and the distribution packing list

• Risk Report analyses

  • Unallocated stock - age risk

  • Allocated stock - age risk

  • Depot Capacity

  • Weight Restrictions

  • Tracking of vessel movements

• Invoicing

  • Approval and querying invoices - Freight/Cold store/Transport/Forwarders

• Planning

  • Program management

  • Commercial contact person

  • Management of stock

• General

  • Support to other departments in logistical queries

  • Operational analyses

  • Deviation Tracking

  • Documentation tracking

Requirements:

• Computer Literate (Word / Excel (intermediate level) / Outlook)

• Knowledge of Iroot for allocating pallets, bookings, day to day processing and reports is advantageous

• Relevant experience in the fruit export industry

• Intermediate numerical abilities (calculations and numerical reasoning, reconciliations)
